  • Q: Will the leather have scars and other natural markings?

  • A: Yes, all of our leather will have natural variation. Including scars, light wrinkling, marbling, color variation and other natural range markings.  

  • Q: Can I change or cancel my order?

  • A: We are not able to cancel or change custom orders once they have been placed as we start orders right away to complete your order as soon as possible.

    In stock orders are often processed multiple times a day, which means we aren’t able to cancel these quick-shipping items at any time. unless the order has not yet been shipped at the time that customer care gets to your cancellation request. 

Shipping/Production

SHIPPING

  • Q: Where do you ship from?

  • A: Foxy Fix ships USPS from Post Falls, Idaho.

  • Q: Do you ship internationally?

  • A: We do ship internationally to most locations. The best way to find out shipping costs is to make an account, including your address, then fill your cart with what you want to order. Our software will calculate your exact shipping during the checkout process. You can still back out without submitting the order at that time if you choose.

  • Q: I ordered something yesterday and now I want to add something else. Can you combine shipping?

  • A: We are not able to combine shipping on any orders.

  • Q: I need my item more quickly. If I pick expedited shipping does that make production shorter?

  • A: The shipping method does not reflect the production time for the item ordered, and we do not offer an option for expedited production. Your item will be shipped via your selected shipping method once all items in the order are complete. If you need any help with shipping please email us at contact@foxyfix.com, preferably before you order.

  • Q: Do in stock items ship  more quickly than made to order items?

  • A: Yes! If you only order in stock items our turn time is 1-3 business days. 

    All items in your order will ship together once the last item is created, so if you order in stock  and made to order items together, they will ship together in the longer time frame.

PRODUCTION TIME

Each custom item will ship within an estimated 30 business days. This does not include weekends or holidays. Please note that custom orders cannot be canceled or changed once the order has been placed. 

Often we ship orders ahead of the 30 business days. However, on release and sales days your order may ship closer to the estimated 30 business days. 

We are unable to spot check or give an estimate on when individual orders will ship.

All items in your order will ship together once the last item is created, so if you order in stock  and made to order items together, they will ship together in the longer time frame.

  • Q: What Foxy Notebook will fit my insert?

  • A: All of the Foxy Notebook sizes refer to the dimensions of the inserts they are designed to hold
    No 0 (sometimes referred to as Micro) - 3”x4”
    No 1 (sometimes referred to as Passport) - 3.4”x4.9”
    No 2 (sometimes referred to as Pocket) - 3.5”x5.5”
    No 3 (sometimes referred to as A6) - 4.1”x5.8”
    No 4 (sometimes referred to as Personal) - 3.75”x6.75”
    No 5 (sometimes referred to as B6) - 5x7
    No 6 (sometimes referred to as Standard) - 4.33”x8.25”

  • Q: What are the “fittings” that are available?

  • Single:
    Holds 1-3 standard (48 pages of 70 lb paper) inserts without any overhang.

    Compact: 
    Comes with 4 interior elastics. It holds about 4 standard (48 pages of 70lb paper) inserts, with additional horizontal space. This space will accommodate tabs, a pen in a pen loop, or additional inserts. The spine is approximately 1.25” wide.

    Wide: 
    Comes with 6 elastics that will Hold 6 standard (48 pages of 70lb paper) inserts, with additional horizontal space. This space will accommodate tabs, a pen in a pen loop, or additional inserts. The spine is approximately 1.5” wide.

  • Q: How do I add extra inserts to my FN? (How do I use a jump band?)

  • A: Open your two extra inserts to the middle, put the front cover of one and the back cover of the other together, and slide the elastic over them. Now those two inserts are joined at the middle as pictured above. Slide them beneath the other inserts in your notebook.

Foxy Rings

  • Q: Are the rings replaceable?

  • A: Yes, Krause rings are replaceable. Send us an email if you need a quote to get your rings replaced. Contact@foxyfix.com

Personalization

  • Q: How do I add debossing to my item?

  • A: When placing your order, under "Front Emboss" or "Spine Emboss", choose "Yes" and more drop down menus will appear.

  • Q: What is the process for debossing?

  • A: We place all our letters, shapes and items by hand and heat press them. Some small variations are to be expected.

    "Blind" means the letters/shapes are pressed into the leather with no change of color

    "Foil" means that foil is added to the debossed shape/letters during the process.

    Certain leathers do not have the option for foil, as these leathers do not work well with foil and it is very difficult to get a clean foil emboss on them.
