Leather Collection: Spice

Weight/Thickness: 2.5 - 3 oz. (1.0 - 1.2 mm)

Colors: Featured above from left to right - Pepper, Salt, Chili (new), Saffron, Pumpkin, Turmeric, Juniper, Thyme, Rosemary, Lemongrass (new)

Character: A soft and flexible pull up leather with a satin like polished finish that helps give the ring cover a bit more structure. This leather will not patina however it will develop with beautiful markings with much use. This leather does scratch. Some scratches can be rubbed out or will even out over time and use while handling the cover. Please note that the Salt and Pepper have the least amount of variation. Whereas Saffron, Chili, Pumpkin, Rosemary and Juniper tend to have the most variation.

Design: A slimmed down design from our previous ring featuring straight angled corners, a big back pocket and envelope styled pockets on the inside. In total count 7 pockets. (Chili featured below)

Featuring high quality 30 mm krause silver rings. While the cover is slimmer the ring size allows you to carry plenty of inserts and to comfortably stuff your cover. In the photo below I was able to insert 384 pages.

Each Spice Ring comes with 1 vinyl page lifter.

Facts Questions & Answers:

Our rings are made to order. You can select from the leather color, stitch color and elastic color. You can also choose to add a custom emboss. They are specially made just for you!

Will there be spice personal wide and A5 rings? We are currently working on releasing spice rings in personal wide. Expect them to be released mid to late January (estimate). We would love to release A5 spice rings as well but are finishing testing them. If everything works out nicely expect them to launch by spring 2018.

Will these be made in other leather collections? As of now, no they will not be. We do not have any plans right now to release this design in another leather. Spice is a thinner leather that still retains a nice structure without being overly floppy. In thus we can add the big back pocket without adding to much bulk.

When will Juniper restock? While we do not have a firm ETA, it is being made for us and should be available anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

How many inserts can I fit into it? I was able to fit 8 - 48 page inserts (384 pages). Pictured above. 

How big are the rings? 30 mm high quality Krause silver rings.

How much does the spice personal size cost? $125.00 includes custom options and 1 vinyl page lifter. Emboss is additional.

How do the 2 different ring cover designs compare? Our first design features a secretarial pocket. The new spice ring feature a envelope pocket design. The spice ring has an addition big back pocket while the original design features plenty of extra width space for organizing labels and divider inserts with additional room for a sewn in pen loop that does not stack with your dividers. While both rings feature the larger 30 mm krause rings the spice is simply more compact. If you are looking for a cover that can carry a lot of inserts but you want it to be as compact as possible try the new Spice ring!  If you enjoy using many dividers and labels for different sections of your planner along with carrying a larger pen on the side, select the original secretarial pocket design. 

Will the new colors (Chili and Lemongrass) be available as a Foxy Notebook on launch day? Yes :)
