Characteristics: A full grain leather with all natural range markings that include scars, color variation, light and dark markings as well as markings that are not natural and are from the tanning process and production. A beautiful high end vegetable tanned leather that develops in character. Made in the U.S.A.

Will this leather patina? Yes, with time this leather will patina naturally. It will darken in color and a slight sheen may appear. To clean and condition this leather try Blackrock Leather Cleaner With Conditioner. If you would like to tan your leather try this conditioner or a similar product to help enrich the patina faster. 

 Recommended protective products:  Collonil Waterstop Spray. Prevents damages from water and sun (UV protectant). Softens leather and helps keep it supple. 

Leather Comparisons: Comparable to our previous Bay (full grain veg tan leather), it is the same type of leather but darker in color and with a different finish. Check out these side by side comparison photos from Tiffany. Both leathers are on the firmer side and will soften with use. Santa Fe is the same weight/thickness as Bay, Wild Flower, Sugar and Boss Babe but due to the leather type and tanning process it has more firm structure.
